- MUNICIPIO- a smaller version of ayuntamiento (called
by pronvincial town) or also called Casa de Municipal or
Casa Real
- PALACIO DEL GOBERNADOR GENERAL- “Palace
Real”. Residence of the highest official of the land
- REAL AUDENCIA- “ Tribunal” is the trial court
- ADUANA- the customs house
- HASCIENDA PUBLICA- Treasury
- CASA HACIENDA- where the administration of the
hacienda or landed estate revolves.

- 1863- earthquake that damage the structure

- was taken from manila cathedral
- in front of the building is the rear of manila cathedral.

 Divided into 2 sides: SOUTHERN & NORTHERN
Northern part- real audencia or supreme court
Southern part- half housed of the governor’s residence &
the secretaria de gobierno
- façade bldg. renovated by neoclassical style
- 1880 earthquake again
Since then gobernador residence was transferred to
malacañang palace in san Miguel district.
- 1978 reconstructed and became the office of the office
og the INtramuros Administration
- building was 14th story bldg. called Palacio del
Gobernador








