ICT which stands for Information Communication Technology
permeates all aspects of life, providing newer, better ,and
quicker ways for people to interact, network , seek help, gain
access to information , and learn. Besides its presence everywhere,
Information and Communication Technology has an immense economic
significance.
It has turned the World into a Global village (ex. it has connected people
from every nook).
ICT in education improves engagement and knowledge retention: When
ICT is integrated into lessons, students become more engaged in their
work. This is because technology provides different opportunities to
make it more fun and enjoyable in terms of teaching the same things in
different ways.
In this age of information communication technology, the whole world
has come to grips today. As a result, all the work is going to be
completed in a very short time. And science is behind everything. New
discoveries in science have changed our way of life. In this age of
information and communication technology, smart phones are in
everyone’s hands. With this smart phone we can talk to people from one
place to another and even see. It does not seem to travel for a long time.
In addition, the use of information technology in all the necessities of
life is increasing.
Knowledge has become more widespread and accessible.
