CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM
I.
Program Overview
Career Guidance Program or CGP is a program designed to give career tracks, directions and
provisions that enables the secondary level students to have career readiness, ability to
plan, making career decisions, and achieving career maturity. This aims to equipped the
students in preparation for their career choices and career path. It will help the student in
acquiring the knowledge necessary to identify options, explore alternatives, and succeed in
society. The CGP is a program that aims to establish career preparedness among secondary
level students.
II.
Objectives
The institution of IBN Taimiyah Foundation Academy Inc. together with the Office of
Guidance and Counseling the Career Guidance Program will be conducted with a series of
career lectures that will assist the student competencies in self-knowledge educational and
occupational exploration, and career planning, at the end of this program the following
objectives are expected:

To orient the grade 10 students of the corresponding K-12 Senior Highschool Strands.
To assist the students in choosing a vocational or career track that will suit to their given
skills.
To give prior idea or knowledge among grade 12 students regarding on life after
Highschool.
To enable the students to have the visualization, organization, and enactment of their
career plans.
To establish career preparedness among the students.
To give comprehensive lectures that would supplement to the career idea and career
choices of the students.
