1. 3D printing competition
Theme to be released next week.
Prints will be judged on practicality and design.
Resources and guides on how to use Onshape or Sketchup will be provided. Feel free
to ask DT department for help.
2. Monash Rocketry Demos
Monash HPR team is doing presentations, demos and rocket building programs for
high schools.
Highly recommended for those interested in physics, engineering, aerospace and
design.

Due to the program’s long schedule, it will be after school or on the weekend. Please
fill out the google form so that we can find the most suitable time for everyone.
3. Aviation Club
A new initiative for those who enjoy all things to do with aerospace and aviation.
Opportunities for flight simulations, drone programming and flying, discussion and
more will be available. For more information, drop a message to Mihir and Eddie or
Lachlan Bushby and Kavika Palletenne.
4. Frank Fang’s Rocketry Competition
Frank Fang will be running a rocketry competition using 3d printed rockets and
simple chemical fuels later in term 2.
This event will be open to all students in the school.
We recommend to practice some 3D printing beforehand and participate in the
Monash Rocketry Program for more experience on how to build a rocket.
