habitat, appearance, and abilities by using simple present and vocabulary about
animals.

Students will be shown some animals which are in danger of
extinction (E.g Panda, Vaquita, An Asian Elephant). They will talk
about:
What do you think the main reasons to be critically endangered?
What is their population right now? Make a guess!

Students will visit the site Species List | Endangered, Vulnerable,
and Threatened Animals | WWF (worldwildlife.org) and choose the
3 animals that they discussed about during the warm up. They
discuss if their guesses were right.

Students will be divided in pairs. Each pair will receive a
letter, for example, B, W, S. They will go back to the website and
find an animal with the letter given. They will complete a worksheet
called: Endangered Animal Research Report.

Powerpoint/Animoto/Canva to convince more people to adopt or
donate to save this endangered animal.
