Caution:
❖ Persons with medical conditions SHOULD consult a physician before using Sauna.
❖ Pregnant women SHOULD NOT enter the sauna without prior medical consultation.
❖ Persons with cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or pulmonary
disease, are NOT RECOMMENDED to use the sauna.
❖ Use by anyone under 16 years of age is PROHIBITED.
Important Information About The Sauna
Temperature: 85-95 oC
Maximum use per seating: 10 minutes
Humidity: 10-15% (dry heat)
Maximum use per day: 30 minutes
Maximum use per day: 30 minutes
Do’s in Using Sauna
❑ Shower before & after each use for hygienic reasons.
❑ Drink plenty of water before & after using the sauna in order to prevent dehydration
❑ All metal jewelry should be removed prior to entering the sauna
❑ Sit on a towel to protect the wood from perspiration.
❑ Users who feel faint or dizzy in the sauna should leave the sauna immediately.
❑ Allow a 5-minute cool down before and after an exercise prior to or after use of sauna.
❑ Keep glass and other breakable objects out of the sauna
❑ Observe reasonable time limits to avoid nausea or dizziness. 10 minutes is recommended.
❑ Dress when completely dry and perspiration stops, or chilling may occur.
Don’ts In Using Sauna
❑ Do not use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other drugs.
❑ Use of the sauna by yourself is not recommended
❑ Body scrubs creams are not to be used inside the sauna.
❑ No newspaper, magazines, or paper products are permitted in the sauna.
❑ Do not put water on the sauna heater.
❑ Do not wear any jewelry while using the sauna as it can cause skin irritation or burning
❑ Due to high temperature, do not place any objects, flammable or otherwise on the sauna stove
All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk and sole responsibility. The club
accepts no liability for injury, death, or any loss associated with the use of these facilities.
