"middle way." The goal of following this Path is to end suffering, become enlightened, and reach nirvana.
The Four Noble Truths
According to Buddhist tradition, the Buddha realized Four Noble Truths as he meditated under the Bodhi tree.
Those truths had to do with suffering and how to overcome it.
