Introduction
 Smart devices is become very important in our live but most of us know how to use it
but don’t know how these devices are created or what is the absolute definition of
that smart devices.
 in our company (HTE) we focus on helping the user in his daily activities using our smart
devices.
 HTE company is producing different kind of smart devices like smartphones, tablets,
smartwatches, Laptops and some electronic devices like Television.
 HTE company builds on the trust of our employees to provide our customers with the
most efficient and satisfactory way to use our merchandise.
Planning – Organizational objectives
1.
HTE company focus on producing smart devices with the high quality that satisfy our
customers.
2.
HTE company produce devices with the suitable prices for all customer.
3.
Our company keeps pace with all the latest updates on smart devices.
4.
Our company provides well after-sales service that satisfies our customers.
5.
The company aspires in the future to build a good reputation for increasing our
customers.
6.
The company aspires to manufacture every piece of the device through its factories
(self-sufficiency).
Planning – Types of objectives
 Short-term objective:
Our goal in the first 6 months is to hire software developer and designers and Hardware engineers
since they are the most required professions in the Smart devices market.
 Intermediate-term objective :
In the first 5 years we will hire more software and hardware developer with different fields to be
able to cover all types of smart devices by the end of the 5 years, Then we do the regular monthly
assessment as before.
 Long-term objective :
Now as we have the qualifications of a professional company, we will start a new target which is
spotting what the surrounding market really lacks to be more distinctive.
Organizing
 Organizing is the second function of the management functions,
which coordinates human effort, arranges resources, and
incorporates the two in ways that help the company to achieve its
objectives.
 HTE company includes various departments to enhance and
facilitate the work to be more organized as we need it to be.
Organizing – Departments
1. Marketing Department.
2. Production Department.
3. Finance Department.
4. Research and inventing department.
Organizing – Marketing departments
 The marketing department plays an important role in improving our products
and customer services since it has a deeper understanding of the market and
client needs.
 The major goal of this department is to reach out to prospects, customers, and
investors in order to promote our business and mission.
 To increase our sales, we can employ one of these two marketing strategies.
Organizing – Production departments
 Production is the department in charge of converting inputs into outputs through a
sequence of processes. Production managers oversee those raw materials given and
completed goods are produced efficiently. To increase productivity, the manager
must oversee procedures and ensure that work is completed efficiently. In a
manufacturing company the production function may be split into four subfunctions:
1. Production Control
2. Scheduling
3. Cost and Quality Control
4. Maintenance of Machines
Organizing – Finance departments
 To be able to create a credible financial plan, we'll need to recruit someone to manage
the finance department, which is one of the most crucial departments in the firm because
the company's performance is dependent on how we maximize profit while minimizing
any unnecessary loss. His responsibility will be to use our company's capital as efficiently
as possible, as well as to assist with our assessment, as we track our profit every month
and compare it to the main plan, so we know how to improve our work even more based
on the assessment's outcome compared to what should have happened.
Organizing – Research and inventing departments
 HTE's Research Department conducts research on labor and employment issues in order to
assist HTE constituents with policy creation.
 The department is currently looking at the effects of major revolutionary developments such as
new technology, inequalities and demographic shifts, climate change, and trade and global
supply chains on decent work. During 2020-21, the department hopes to conduct new research
on "frontier issues," in collaboration with wider research across the HTE , in order to generate
innovative policy thinking for a human-centered future of decent work, guided by the needs of
HTE constituents.
Influencing
 Influencing skill is “Not the ability to get someone to do what you want them
to do, it’s the ability to get yourself to do what you want to do”.
 In our company we encourage all our employee to be more productive by
changing the way they develop or think and even behave inside and outside
the company.
 Influencing is not only about forcing or getting others to change, but we
behave in way that offers other the invitation to change (their behavior,
attitude, thoughts and ways).
Influencing - Communication
• HTE company is an open-minded company that provide each of
its employees the freedom to express their opinions in anything
by communication between the manger and any of the
employees.
• In our company the manager share his information and ideas to
the employees with the most effective way for communication.
Communication – interpersonal communication
 The source:
The manger who will formulate the information or the messages and share it
with others.
 The signal:
The formulated message that will be shared with others.
 The destination:
The employees (Programmers, Marketer, Financial, Maintenance worker,
Reviewer, ...etc.) that will receive the message and understand it.

Purpose of the communication
Communication
 Successful communication.
The information that the sender need to send is the same that the information
the receiver understood.
Its like an equation but more likely in the real live between the sender and the
receiver.
 Unsuccessful communication.
The information that the sender need to send is not the same as the receiver
has understood.
Influencing - Leading
leading can be define as the ability to influence others and to be able to be a leading example for
others to follow your instruction.
In our company we define leadership as the process of directing and influencing employees to do
their jobs willingly and enthusiastically toward achieving our goals.
But leadership cannot be earned for nothing, it considers two things:
1. process:
The leadership process is the ability to supervise and influence your workers to do better
through a particular course of action.
2. Property:
Leadership in our company depends on many characteristics such as the ability to inspire
others, work under pressure, do the task without restrictive supervision, and be willing to
take risks.
Influencing - Feedback
 Feedback is the transmission of evaluative or corrective information about an
action, event, or process to the controlling resource (SEO, project manager).
 feedback is especially useful for management to know the opinions of our
employees or the level of satisfaction of our customers.
 There is two type of feedback:
1. Verbal feedback.
is the feedback expressed by speech or writing and is simply a word spoken or
written by an employee or a customer to express their feelings about the company
in general or for its production or sale processes.
2. Nonverbal feedback.
is the feedback that is expressed through tones, body language, and gestures, and
in our company, we take nonverbal feedback seriously because in general nonverbal communication is 55% of facial expressions of the total impact of the
message, so we focus on blessing both employees and customers who deal with us
with all Comfort and enthusiasm.
Controlling
 As we all know the controlling is the process of ensuring that everything occur
as it was planned to occur and because of that planning and controlling is
inseparable functions.
 Purpose of controlling is to help the manager enhance the success of the
overall management system through effective controlling.
 In our company controlling function is one of the most essential functions that
we focus on because of its sensitivity and how it touches all other functions
and especially the planning function.
Controlling - Controlling Process
1. Measuring performic.
a. What to measure:
Managers in our company must always keep in mind that every activity in the
company must be measured as part of the controlling process even if the
activity is widely ranged or not.
b. How to measure:
 Managers can establish special units for measuring to represent target
performance.
 Determine the level of each units accomplished by each target employee.
Controlling - Controlling Process
2. Comparing measured performance to standards.
 Manager should make every measured performance standard in each
area of the target performance.
 managers pinpoint all important areas of organizational performance
and establish corresponding standards in each area.
 Managers should focus on the accuracy of performance in each area,
the percentage of each error or failure if any, and the percentage of
accurate performance to make it standard in the future.
Controlling - Controlling Process
3. Taking corrective action
Managerial activity aimed at bringing organizational performance
up to the level of performance standards.
 Recognizing problems:
If there is any factor in the company that is affecting the company
from achieving its objectives.
 Recognizing symptom:
If there is any sign that problem is exists.
