My Gap Year application
Hello, my name is Oliver. I’m 16 years old. I am attending a boarding school to finish my 10 th
grade. It’s a school located in Svendborg, where our focus is gymnastics. We do shows around in
Denmark. In my spare time, I’m doing a lot of fitness. Where I am trying to get my physics better.
I’d like to have a gap year before going to high school. I thought about doing some reasonable that
year, because I really want to improve my English speaking in English-speaking country. I really
want to go on an adventure because I really want to experience the nature in Australian and see
some awesome animals. It would really improve my physics to wander through the Australian
nature and give me some memories for the life.
I expect to develop as a person in the way that gives me more nuanced view of the world and
everything in general. Meet some new friends on the trip from many different countries and learn
about their cultures. Also, I think I would get a lot of time to reflect on my life to choose the right
thing to study to.
I hope to experience much of the Australian nature and see many animals I can’t see here in
Denmark. Also hope to get a better version of myself, and find out who I am. The last experience I
want to get, is that I want to see how the daily life for an Australian person that lives in the nature
is.
