Directions: Answer each of the following questions.
Question 1
Go to https://www.careeronestop.org/ExploreCareers/Learn/whats-hot.aspx and research
the future outlook for the career you’ve chosen. What’s the current demand for the job,
and what kind of demand is projected for the future? Describe in at least three complete
sentences.
Question 2
Now consider the current and future workplace trends you’ve studied. Are there any
workplace trends (job sharing, casual work environments, flexible work hours, work from
home, etc.) that could work for the career you’ve chosen? Explain in a response of at least
five complete sentences.
Question 3
Could the career you’ve chosen be enjoyed as gig work? In a response of at least five
complete sentences, discuss and explain whether you’d prefer to enjoy this career as a
traditional employee or as an independent freelance (gig) worker.
