Attending and cutting the opening ribbon were comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia,
Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department;
Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the State;
Vu Duc Dam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen
Manh Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Information and
Communications, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Le Quoc Minh,
Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Newspaper,
Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda
Department; and many Party and State leaders attended the ceremony. Secretary of the
Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong
Nghia spoke at the ceremony.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Press Fair, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia
emphasized: The press team and the press agencies have been proactive, efficient, flexible,
closely following the grassroots and promptly and honestly reflected. objectively the
activities of our people and the whole political system, making an important contribution
to shaping public opinion, creating motivation in society, strengthening our people's belief
in the leadership of the Party, The State and international friends about the achievements
and results of epidemic prevention and control, economic recovery and development and
very important initial results that our people have achieved in recent times.
Comrade Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Committee for
Propaganda and Education affirmed: "For the past 97 years, under the leadership of the
Party, the care and guidance of Uncle Ho and the love and care of the People, the newspaper
reported. Vietnam's revolutionary spirit has always been closely associated with the
revolutionary cause of the Party and the people. In the historical periods of the country
since the establishment of the Party, the press has always been a shock force on the
