INTRODUCTION.
1.
Background.
In the current world technology is one of the most important aspects of our lives and its
necessary to integrate it into our daily activities. Technology improves the quality of life through
efficient and reliable frameworks that help optimize both managerial and social aspects of an
organization ancient are the years when manual systems were the norm. they are slow and
tiresome and most times unreliable.
With technology, there are implementable facilities to provide real-time data on client behaviors,
projections of any decisions that may be made and adaptability in the entrepreneurial space. With
the recent bust and rapid advancements in mobile technology, restaurants and eateries stand a big
chance to benefit. By developing a system that can be accessed remotely through connecting to
the internet, clients and potential clients are able to use this system by creating user accounts.
They can do this by using their mobile number and a password. This allows the client to pick the
items they want to purchase; they are also able to customize them to their liking without
physically visiting the restaurant. The system acts like an in-hand menu as it provides the
customer with the necessary information for the item. The client can also be able to pick a
favorite item which they can order automatically. This is done by the client through selecting the
item and then adding it to the cart. They’ll then proceed to pick their preferred payment method
after which they select whether its in-house or delivered.
Once an order has been placed, the system will process it and send a confirmation message to the
customer. In-case there is a mix up or delay, there is a refund option after following the
necessary procedures.
The clients also have the provision of making reservations which allows the restaurant to make
the necessary arrangements to avoid inconveniences.
This system aims to improve overall customer service. It also aims to make the restaurant to be
more efficient and easier to manage. This will reduce the costs used to run the restaurant and
make it more profitable.
