Rotary Disc Dryer - RDD
Rotary disc dryer allows removing unnecessary fluids from fish, from animals and poultry
by-products. Dryers are designed to work with a steam pressure of up to 10 bar and have become
an excellent solution due to their use of the natural fat content of the material. The dryer rotor itself
consists of a central shaft equipped with many steam-heated discs.

The mixer in the paddle dryer starts working after the material is introduced into the drying chamber.
That's when the load starts to heat up and mix. The mixing mechanism itself has been specially
designed to evenly heat the entire content and break any lumps as well as large pieces that may form
during drying. The drying time itself depends on the moisture content of the load, as well as the
specific properties of the material used, so this process can take from a few minutes to several hours.
To complete the desired drying process, it is possible to adjust the feed speed, mixing shaft speed
and temperature.

Continuous Tube Coil Dryer
Continuous Tube Coil Dryer is perfect for the continuous drying of raw material with low-fat content.
For instance: blood, feathers, and fish meal. It is ideal for use in the production of high-quality
and high-protein meals. Drier can heat not only by the shell but also by the rotor improving the

Rotary Sludge Dryer - RSD
Rotary sludge dryer is specially designed for materials with high humidity, viscosity, and low heat
value, such as sludge. The rotor design is based on a centrally located tube with welded vertical discs.
The compact design of the discs guarantees the high efficiency of the water vapor evaporation. The
rotary sludge dryer is designed to work with a steam pressure of 6-10 barG. The rotor can be made
from stainless steel or carbon steel. The stator is delivered mostly in stainless steel. The discs are
made to handle sticky materials.

Batch Cooker
The industrial batch cooker is a pressure vessel with a heating jacket. It can operate at steam
pressure up to 5 bar, thus complying with the EU Directive on animal by-products of 2009/2011,
and can even process charges containing hair, wool, or feathers for use in pet food.
The steam-heated rotor allows mixing, heating, sterilization, and drying of the raw material. The
rotor is driven by a special gear that has a hollow shaft. TG-Machines Batch Cooker can be delivered
with additional accessories such as safety valves, fittings, and frame, or individually tailored to
customer requirements.

carcasses of horses, pigs and cattle, as well as all types of offal and bones from meat and poultry

Lamella Pump
TG machines have designed special Lamella pump which are intended to pump raw material with
high viscosity, such as offal, crushed bones, material from rendering, and processing plants. For
pumping products of animal origin, Lamella Pump is fully recommended. Pumps are equipped with
cast iron or stainless-steel housing available in few sizes.
They work perfectly as a closed transport system for loading cookers and other processing
equipment reducing unpleasant odor.

Falling-Film Evaporator
The most important and only goal of WHE is to save energy and reduce steam consumption.
TG‐Machines can offer different configurations of a waste heat falling film evaporators. Single,
Double and Triple Stage Effects are available.
During the WHE operation, the stick water will concentrate into a thick syrup, which is transferred to
the dryer and combined with fish meal. Waste Heat Falling Film Evaporator is expensive equipment
and requires a highly qualified employee.

Waste Heat Falling Film Evaporator for Fish Meal Plants
WHE allows steam consumption to be reduced by approximately 50%, it is especially important when
boiler fuel is expensive. WHE is used in fish meal plants where the cooker and press are working and
the stick water and fish oil are separated. For the final decision how, many stages will be used in the
process, the calculation has to be taken into account. For instance, for tuna waste where the level of
the stick water is low one stage will be enough. While for sardines where the level is higher two
stages of the waste heat falling film, evaporators are required.
In contrast, Rotary Disc Dryer is a fish meal dryer for solid particles. WHE is a stick water dryer which
comes from a decanter and a separator.
Stick water contains dissolved protein (solids), just like sugar dissolves in water. Proteins are valuable
and must be recovered to obtain a higher protein content and a better price. WHE use vapors from
the disc dryer instead of steam from the boiler. The disc dryer evaporates water with a normal
boiling point of 100°C. The WHE evaporator evaporates water using a vacuum where the boiling
point is only 60°C. The WHE design consists of:

Shell &Tube Heat Exchanger
The Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger is a machine which can decrease the temperature of the liquid or
gas. This machine finds applications in many places especially in rendering and fish meal plants.
Cooling takes place by means of constantly flowing water around the tubes with hot vapour or gas.

Condensate Return System
Thanks to this system it is possible to save approx. 12% of the consumption of heating oil from the
boiler. Condensate Return System can be installed to all types of dryers, cookers, and sterilizers,
which they use for indirect heating.
This system pumps hot condensate under pressure directly to the boiler in a completely closed
system without any instant steam loss. Note that a dryer operating at 6 bar steam pressure will lose
about 12% of the flash steam after the steam trap when the condensate boils to reduce the
temperature from 160˚C to 100˚C.

Double Pipe Heat Exchanger
A two-pipe heat exchanger is also sometimes referred to as a "pipe in a pipe" heat exchanger. As the
name implies, it consists of two pipes, one in the other. One fluid flow through the inner tube as to
the tubular side of the jacket and tubular exchanger, while the other fluid flows through the outer
tube that surrounds the inner tube as to the tubular side of the jacket and tubular exchanger. Double

Cyclone
TG Cyclone is type of a dust collector; device used for cleaning gases from solid particles (dust).
In a cyclone, the contaminated gas falls into and swirls in a cylindrical chamber, as a result of which
the heavier components in the gas are thrown outwards by the centrifugal force. As a result of
rubbing against the walls of the cyclone, they lose speed and fall under the influence of gravity
and clean air flows up through the centrally placed channel.
