Good Shepherd Sunday
4th Sunday of Easter
Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your
faithful. And kindle in them the fire of
your love. Send forth your Holy Spirit,
and they be created. And you shall
renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray:
O God, who by the Light of the Holy
Spirit, did instruct the hearts of your
faithful. Grant that by the same Holy
Spirit we may be truly wise and ever
rejoice in His consolations through Christ
our Lord. Amen.

Leader: Sisters and brothers, Jesus Christ
the Good Shepherd calls us to live
our baptismal promises in following
him without reserved. With
confidence to Him we pray:
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, hear us.
1. For Francis, our Pope, Antonieto, our Bishop, and all
ministers of Christ’s Church, that they may emulate
You, the Good Shepherd, and preach the Good News
with pastoral love. Let us pray to the Lord . . .
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, hear us.
2. For those who have consecrated themselves to
God in the service of the Church, that by prayer and
commitment, they will reach out with deep
compassion and reveal God’s love which is lavished
upon humanity through the Good Shepherd. Let us
pray to the Lord . Jesus,
..
the Good Shepherd, hear us.
3. For all men and women, that they may live
their vocation in the Church and society
especially promoting the welfare of
individual. Let us pray to the Lord . . .

and injustices that they may be healed by
God’s loving hands. Let us pray to the Lord . .

5. For those who are lost and the souls we
remember (pause), that they may listen to
His voice and embrace our Good Shepherd.

pray to the Lord. . . Risen Lord, hear us.
Leader: Almighty, eternal God, who sent
your Son to die that we might live,
grant we pray, divine love and
compassion, to those chosen who
follow You, the Good Shpeherd, in
fulfilling their baptismal promises.
Amen.
Lord’s
Prayer
Closing Prayer
Thank you Lord for giving us time
to come together and reflect over
your teachings. Help us to bring
hope, an important virtue to life, in
our school, home, and parish
community. We hope that we are
able to spend time with you like
this more often. This we ask
through Christ our Lord. Amen.
