Results
The following results were obtained through MATLAB by plotting a graph consisting of a best fit. In order
to obtain results from all 4 given samples of concrete and alloy, a total of 8 graphs had to be plotted
through MATLAB. The results are shown below:

Analysis of Report
The results of concrete samples and alloy samples are used identify the best concrete sample and alloy
sample to build the bridge. When we observe the results of the samples, we can see the best concrete
sample is concrete2 with a stiffness of 12.9358 kN/m .And the alloy sample is Alloy2 With a stiffness of
6.3757 kN/m. which are the most suitable samples to build the bridge across the Yara river .
Conclusion
According to the results we can say that the safest materials to use are Concrete2 and Alloy2.Because
the Young modulus of both the materials are higher than the other material samples or in other words,
we can say that the concrete2 and alloy2 have greater fracture point with a higher stress (higher
stress=higher strength) . Base on the experiment and the data we can conclude that concrete2 and
alloy2 are the best, safest and long-lasting materials which are needed to be used by VU Pty Ltd.
