TOPIC: HUMAN RELATIONS AND COMMUNITY EXTENSION PROGRAM
Chaos and order bring balance in all things in the universe. It can establish a working
façade on how mechanisms work and same is true to any organization. Rules may not be apart
from established human relations in an organization. It makes the cohesiveness in an
organization. When in an organization, Human relations are vital especially in bigger schools or
office where complex personality enters into the consideration. Managers and employees deal
with it every day to carry out the mandate of the organization. Also, age or experience play
important role in human relations.
When I was a newbie in a teaching position, my head was filled with idealism with the job
thus, conflict arises easily. I often got some altercation with my fellow employees since what I
want is not the best for the other party but for myself. It may sound selfish enough but that was
how I was taught- our education curriculum at the time. Its too rigid and filled with idealistic ideals.
As I aged (got experienced), I learned that human relations are second to none in an organization.
One must get along or has the versatility to endure and outdo all human behaviors in an
organization. As my principle dictates that timeliness and sense of urgency is paramount to all.
Though this mantra is still adhered but I am more versatile than before in handling by subordinates
and co-teachers.
Working for the gain is the biggest temptation rather than pure missionalistic approach to
service. However, as I aged or gotten experienced, I learned that this work contains pure
contentment and happiness when you serve the community. Over the years, I can say that all my
products(students) were really became successful in their fields and exhibit their respective auras
of independence and that’s keeps me going all these years.
People who works together creates a bridges, bond or culture- a way of their respective
contributions. Their individualism contributes to the whole. This makes the equilibrium of all
things. In sum, People contributes to progress when their intrinsic personalities intertwine and
mingle. People is the best asset in an organization.
