Overview
For this assignment, you will be choosing and describing two products that require
human interaction. The goal is to practice describing and analyzing a product's
interface as well as develop an awareness to different kinds of users and to what
constitutes good or poor design.
Choosing your products
To complete this assignment, you will need to choose two products: one that you find
particularly easy to use and one you find difficult to use. Simple software applications
(e.g. calculators, image viewers, text editors) or Web sites are examples of possible
choices. Public domain software and Web CGI's and applets are a good place to look.
Tangible products such as ATM machines or CTA ticket dispensers are acceptable
too. On the other hand, complicated office and business software such as word
processors, database systems, or spreadsheets are too complicated given the time and
effort expected of this assignment.

that affected your answers.
For the product That is easy to use:
Answer 1: The Respective product is an Android/iOS Application Careem available
publically.
Answer 2: We can download this application to our smartphone from Google play store
or apple store. Using this app, we can book a ride from anywhere sitting in any
city/town. It also comes in handy when there is no public transport available like
bus/taxi and by having a smartphone we can book a car ride anywhere. By using this
app we can book any type of car according to our satisfaction and comfort.
Answer 3: The product/App is very user friendly and doesn't need much knowledge to
use it a little bit of knowledge and understanding is enough to use this app. Any person
can use this app easily with simple booking functions.
Answer 4: An individual who doesn't have a Smartphone or mobile number cannot is
unable to use this application as it is necessary/mandatory to have a Smartphone to
access this application and a person who don’t know how to use mobile will feel
difficult to use this application. This application can only be run if we have an internet
facility any person who don’t have an internet cannot use this application.
Answer 5: This difficulty can be solved either by using other’s Smartphone or buying
a new Smartphone.
For the product That is difficult to use:
Answer 1: The product is a computer and mobile software known as spreadsheet.
Answer 2: This product can be used to store all different kinds of data for the creation
of receipts and invoices and for calculations and much more. Excel spreadsheets can
support more than a million rows and more than 16,000 columns, so you’ll have plenty
of space to store a huge amount. That’s what makes them ideal for database creation.
Answer 3: I don’t have much knowledge of spreadsheet which make it difficult for me
to use this software. I don’t know much about the formulas for calculations in spread
sheet. The lack of knowledge about this software make it difficult for me to use.
Answer 4: This difficulty can be resolved by studying spreadsheet and its working
thoroughly.
Answer 5: Any student who has knowledge or has studied spreadsheet and its
importance can easily use this product without any difficulty.
Question: With a few sentences, summarize an important difference between the two
products that affected your answers.
Answer: The difference between both the application or software is that careem is used
to book a ride and the spreadsheet is used for calculations. Both have a direct and
indirect impact on our lives. And both are use full in daily life.
