these categories to demonstrate how Frank
Ocean may be classified as a postmodern artist.
Due to the limitations of this article, I will only
analyze what I consider to be the most essential
components of the album that can be considered
postmodern, but I will provide recommendations
for further research based on my findings.

creative movement that spanned the late 1800s to
the early-mid 1900s, with the latter half of the
period heavily influenced by the events of World
