Free Meal Planning Tool (Google Sheets Version)

Thanks for downloading this meal planning tool!
In order to use it, you need to be on a desktop or laptop.
You'll also need to make a copy and save it to your personal Google Drive (it won't work otherwise!)
Do this by clicking "File," then "Make a copy" from the menu (upper left hand corner of your screen).
Then go through the following steps to use your copy of the spreadsheet to plan your meals.
1. Make sure the formulas are all working by clicking the “Click Here to Clear Cells” button in the "Personal Information" tab.
2. When you first set up the meal plan, you’ll need to tell Google that it can trust the sheet. You’ll see a popup asking you to authorize the scripts in the spreadsheet. Click “Continue.”
3. Select the account you would like to use to edit the spreadsheet.
4. You’ll get a notification that the app isn’t verified. This just means that Google hasn’t personally reviewed all of the formulas in the spreadsheet, and it’s their way of covering their butts should something go
wrong. Don’t worry—everything in this sheet is safe, it won’t affect anything connected to your Google account, and you can delete it completely any time you want.
5. Select Advanced, and then click “Go to Meal Plan (unsafe).” This is just a precaution on Google’s part. The spreadsheet is completely safe.
6. You’ll see another popup asking if you want the meal plan tool to view and manage spreadsheets in Google Drive. This won’t affect any other spreadsheets or documents in your Google Drive—it’s just
saying that you allow all of the scripts in this spreadsheet to operate with you as the owner. Click “Allow.”
Once you finish all of these steps, you are the new owner of this spreadsheet.
