THE STRANGER
BÙI NGỌC VÂN SƠN
In fact, the origin of the character can be easily traced, despite some media outlets adding the
aura of Slenderman mythology by claiming that the origin of the figure is unknown. Below is a
creepy piece of Slenderman in my story....
After the girl woke up suddenly, she lay on the bed for a few seconds. Checking the time on the
phone, when she saw midnight-witch time, she snorted. She left the bedroom and went to the
kitchen, thinking of a good cup of coffee in her head. As she passed her front door, a chill spread
from her spine like a liquid flame. It was only winter, she told herself, to focus on the coffee plan
again. The chill came back, and she couldn't help but glanced at the front door behind her. The
death bolt was still in place, and she couldn't see anything wrong. Going back to her coffee, she
tried her best to forget this feeling. Holding the cup, she walked towards the bedroom. She put
her empty hand on the cold metal door, took a deep breath, and then cast her eyes to the
peephole. At first, she could only see pitch black, somehow she seemed to be spinning. She
blinked in surprise, and the void instantly disappeared. Instead, she can only guess that she was
once a man. The limbs are long and inhumane, and the heavy joints divide several arms, just like
the branches of a tree. The creature was wearing a black suit, which somehow made it more like
a nightmare to her. The hot coffee cup fell, and the liquid burned her bare legs. She fell backward,
trying to crawl out of the door. When her crab left the door, she saw black tendrils, a void like
the snake she saw from a crack for the first time. When the door shook, the urge to escape
overwhelmed her, and when she tried to return to her room, she slipped and fell in the burning
liquid. Deep down in her heart, she knew that she was trapped in a corner, but she had to leave
the door. When the girl heard the creaking opening of the previously locked door, she was
already halfway down the corridor. She screamed and slid into a wall, slamming her chin against
the wall, shocking her. The next morning, she received an emergency call from the hospital,
saying that her sister Rayna was there. Before they even let her see her, the doctor had pulled
her aside and insisted that they talk to her about what might happen. Phrases like "self-hypnosis"
and "attack" were scattered around, Rayna felt dizzy. She still didn't fully understand what they
were talking about until she saw Rayla with her own eyes. Her younger sister had a headband
wrapped around her head, covering both her ears and eyes. They said this was to keep her now
dead eyes from drying out and to try to protect the wounds Rayla had inflicted on her ears from
infection. The doctors guessed that she or someone else had stuck a pencil in them to throw her
off balance or deaf from something. She had first and second degree burns on her arms, legs and
feet from what was believed to be coffee found by neighbors spilled all over the entrance to her
apartment. When Rayla first entered her sister's hospital room, she thought she noticed the
silhouette of a man in the window. She knew it was impossible. Her sister's room was on the third
scenery of the hospital.
