I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson students will be able to:
A. Identify accented and unaccented pulse in a song
B. Knows how to put accent in notation of the song choice.
C. Can able to use accents in reading and listening to every song.
II. SUBJECT MATTER
TOPIC: Accented an Unaccented Pulse

III. LEARNING PROCEDURES
A. ACTIVITY (MOTIVATION)
- the teacher will be presenting a song called "tayo na" by: Maria Elena D. Digo
- students will be divided into 2 groups and choose 2 representatives each group.
B. ANALYSIS
They will be asked by the following questions:
- What are the notes that is present in the musical piece illustration?
- How many quarter notes are there in the musical piece?
- How many eight notes are there in the musical piece?
- How many half notes are there in the musical piece?
- How many quarter rest are there in the musical piece?
- How many eight rest are there in the musical piece?
- Time signature of the piece?
C. ABSTRACTION
- Teacher will discuss the lesson proper
- Accented and unaccented beats.
- Strong beat
- Weak beat
D. APPLICATION
- Put an accent or (>) strong accent to any part of the musical piece.
IV. EVALUATION
- Put an accent or strong beat in to the musical score of the song "Ano-ano"
