Suggested Use
1. Print, cut, and laminate one set of the tasks cards.
2. Post the task cards around your classroom.
3. Give each student a recording sheet, a writing
utensil, and a clipboard.
4. Have students roam the room to complete the
sentence on each task card. Students must decide
if the verb should have an –ed or –ing ending and
correctly spell the new word to complete the
sentence.
5. When finished, use the answer key to check your
students’ work OR post the answer key for
students to self-assess their work.
