Do you enjoy helping others? Helping out is an important part
of being in a community. Many others feel the same way. Helping
can truly make a difference, and it’s something you’re able to do
every day. Make a Difference Day might just come once a year, but it
reminds us how great it is to help others.
We should all be active in promoting changes to better our
community. There’s always a way to make a difference. It can be
giving food to someone in need or cleaning up a park. Make a
Difference Day is an ideal time to get others involved. It’s a time to
get your friends to help you make a difference, too.

Making a difference is about helping, but it’s also about learning.
When you and your friends clean up a park, you can observe the
plant and animal life there. You might see animals you have studied
in school. So while cleaning up, you can learn more about the plants
and animals. The park will be a healthier place for people in your
community, and for the plants and animals.

It is beneficial to clean a park, but it is also important to meet the
members of your community. You can easily learn about other people
who live near you and make a difference just by talking to them. You
and your friends can visit a senior citizen center and plan activities
with the people there. This makes a difference because it shows you
care about others. It also helps you get to know your community
better.

Feed Someone in Need
Do you know the importance of a nutritious meal? Some people
aren’t able to eat well every day. Make a difference by collecting
food for them. You and your friends can work as a team in order to
collect food for them. Choose a food bank you would like to help and
work together to collect food donations from your friends and your
community. Gather all of the food and give it to the food bank. They
will be grateful for your donation and the help. You can donate food
all year round. It not only helps people in need, but it also helps you
understand teamwork.

people, learn new things, and work as a team. Most of all, you can
