GENERAL POLICIES
A) Academic Dishonesty
Students are expected to respect the CUNY policy on academic integrity as described in
http://www.qc.cuny.edu/StudentLife/services/studev/Documents/AcademicIntegrityViolation
Policy.pdf. In fairness to students who put in an honest effort, cheaters will be harshly
treated. Any evidence of cheating will result in a score of zero (0) on that exam. Cheating
includes but is not limited to copying off another person's exam, allowing someone to copy
off of your exam, and having someone take an exam for you. Incidences of cheating will be
reported to Student Affairs, which may administer additional punishment.
B) ADA
Students with disabilities needing academic accommodation should: (1) register with and
provide documentation to the Special Services Office, Frese 111; (2) bring a letter indicating
the need for accommodation and what type. This should be done during the first two weeks of
class. For more information about services available to Queens students contact: Dr. Mirian
Detres‐Hickey, Special Services Office; 111 Frese Hall; 718‐997‐5870. E‐mail address:
