Viruses are not made out of cells, they can not keep
themselves in a stable state, they don’t grow, and they
can’t make their own energy. On the other hand, viruses
do replicate and adapt to their environment and are made
up of many things like proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and
carbohydrates. However, this does not justify viruses as
living things. Just because viruses are not considered to
be a living thing, does not mean they cannot be a part of a
living system. Evidence to support my claim comes from
https://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/ and it states that there
should be cellular organisation, ordered complexity,
growth, development, and reproductivity in a living system
and Viruses have all of those characteristics when they
actually reach a cell to create a virus in.
