First, let me explain what suprematism is:
Suprematism was founded by a painter named Kazimir Malevich. And here are some of his
paintings. Suprematism is an art movement focus on basic geometry. As you can see through his
paintings, ang bases na ginagamit niya ay geometric forms such as circles, lines, rectangles and usually
squares. As you will notice, very limited lang yung range ng colors ang ginagamit niya it is because
Suprematism reduces form to its essential qualities such as using geometric shapes and removing of
descriptive color. In removing specific subject matter from his art, Malevich freed both painting and its
audience from constraints of object meaning. Sa Suprematism, yung details ng isang bagay or isang idea
is tinatanggal niya and pinapaltan niya ng geometric forms or tinatransform niya into zero form.
Now, to explain “there is no pornography in suprematism”;
Pornography is a form that shows the ugly reality of human nature by demonstrating the human
weakness of flesh. Humans are lustful creators that constantly crave satisfaction and porn industry
depicts theses aspects of human nature perfectly. Meaning, ang pornography ay nakabase sa kung ano
nakikita natin sa paligid natin, which is the nature of a human na maakit sa tawag ng laman. And for
Malevich, “to reproduce beloved objects and little corners of nature is just like a thief being enraptured
by his legs in irons” meaning yung mga artist daw na ginagawang basehan ang nature forms for their art
ay parang isang magnanakaw na kumukuha ng ideas from the forms of nature. Si Malevich kasi
naniniwala siya na “Only with the disappearance of a habit of mind which sees in pictures little corners
of nature, Madonnas and shameless Venuses, shall we witness a work of pure, living art.”kumbaga po
ang pure and living art can be found through its zero form po and beyond physical world. pornography is
part of our material and physical world, therefore, there is no pornography in suprematism.
