Smart Ways
to Promote
Your YouTube
Channel
It has been found that among the sites that have most visits,
the site that comes in second place is YouTube. Its monthly
users are around 1.9 billion. So, for digital marketers it is
very important to master it. Here are the smart ways to
promote your YouTube channel.
1. Choose those keywords that are
Google-friendly –
The users do not always go to YouTube directly for videos.
They can make a search on Google also. It has been found
that in 2018 a search term that gained so much popularity
and got a second place among all was YouTube. Now for a
number of searches Google gives priority to videos. For any
video, there are a number of ways of finding a keyword that
is Google-friendly:
● Use keyword planner of Google ads for finding possible
keywords.
● Among these keywords, search one keyword on Google.
● For each keyword, check the SERP. See among the
written content and videos, which gets the top
rankings?
● Try for the second time by tweaking the keyword. If in
obtaining results for videos you have any trouble then
add terms like “Tutorial” or “How to”.
2. Use titles that are descriptive and concise
–
At the time of finding your content, the users see the title
first. In order to write strong titles for YouTube some basic
tips are as follows:
● A short and sweet title is always good – Have you ever
noticed that the shortest titles are found in the YouTube
videos that are most popular. The title needs to be of
less than 60 characters.
● In the title’s first half include the keywords – A large
number of visitors see only the start of the sentence
and don’t see further.
● Don’t use a clickbait title – Your channel’s reputation
can get damaged if you use a clickbait title.
