Required:
This assignment needs to be completed online on myUnisa. The questions are randomly selected. Due to
rounding some of your final answers might differ – choose the closest answer from the list provided.
The assignment consists of 25 questions covering Topic 1 of the prescribed material. The questions will be
a mix between multiple choice questions, true/false questions and numeric response questions. The
assignment
contributes
20%
towards
your
year
mark.
This assessment is due 20 May 2020, 11:59:00 PM.
There is no time limit for this assessment. Please note that no IT assistance will be available after official
Unisa work hours.
You can submit this assessment an unlimited number of times. Answers from the last attempt will replace
all previous answers submitted. Your latest score will be recorded.
Please note the assignment closing date above. If you miss this deadline due to technical difficulties or any
other reasons you will have missed your assignment and receive a mark of zero for the assignment. The
assignment is open from the 1 April 2020 until the 20 May 2020 (11:59:00 PM). This gives you more
than enough time to work through the study material and complete the assignment and sort out any
difficulties you might experience before the closing date.

 Go to myUnisa
 Log in with your student number and password
 Select the module (RSK4805)
 Click on Online Assessment in the left-hand menu
 Click on 1 Assignment 01
 Follow the instructions on the screen
 The answers to the assessment will only be released two weeks after the closing date.

Feedback on questions?
Feedback is provided two weeks after the closing date of the assignment.

Number of submissions?
You will have unlimited submission attempt. The last attempt submitted will count as your assignment
mark.

What counts as an attempt?
The system sees any access to the assessment as an attempt. Therefore, if you click on Begin assessment,
it is counts as an attempt. Attempts are not only completed or submitted attempts. On each attempt the
system will automatically draw a new assessment from a database of questions.

Cannot access the assessment?
The only reason you would not be able to access the assessment would be because you did not adhere to
the due dates of the assessment. However, if you do struggle to complete the assessment, do not wait until
after the due date before contacting the lecturer. The assessment is open for more than a week. I suggest
you complete the assessment as early as possible. If you cannot access the assessment, contact the
lecturer before the due date as no extensions will be allowed.

Subminimum?
You need to obtain a year mark of 40% in order to get examination admission. It is therefore important that
you complete all your assignments.
