Description
The air pressure in your mouth and
straw becomes lower than the air
pressure outside.
Liquid is forced into the straw and
into your mouth
Air is sucked from your mouth to
your lungs creating low air
pressure in your mouth.
The air pressure outside pushes
down on the liquid (which cannot
be compressed).
