I like to kick of my speech by expreesing my
Heartfelt wishes to his Magesty Sultan Hitham Bin
Tariq praying to the Almighty Allah to bring back
this occaision for many years to come and find his
majesty in full health and omani people enjoying
the
Fruit of prosperity.
i’m a proud omani student, Do you know why?let
me take you on a tour of my country to closely
discover it together.
Let me give you some facts oman
-Oman is an Arab country on the south-eastren
Coast of the arabian.
-It has a total of 310,000 squar km.
The population is around f million.
-Muscat is the capital city
-Arabic is the official language.-Rial
[OMR] is its official currency.
-it’s land Bording countries are the United Arab
Emarates, Saudi Arabia, and yemen.
Now let us go back in time to visit oman before
1970,to see how it looked like.
In the period before the rise of the renaissance,
Omani society was suffering from many serios
problems and obsetcales.
There was little or no education as only 3 schools
were operated in the full country.
There was a lack of social and health care.one
small hospital in mutrah was only in service.
The country lacked nearly all infrastructure for
Important services,inculudinga modern port and
airports,roads,electricity, comunacation system
and network.
This situation has led to the emirgration of many
Omanis out of their homeland and to live in
forgien countries.
Travelling back from past to present oman.we can
see the big development has been progressed
during the 50 years.Now,there are around 1,100
government schools in oman,besides there are
around 40 colleges and
Universities offering a wide range of academic
programs such as medical, engenering, art,
business and science.
The health care field has also been improved
dramatically.
Now there is about 320 hospitals and heathcare
centers that have modernand specialized health
care facilates.
Oman is a country with a rich history. After the
renaissance the country wittnesd rapid
developments in all fields,now oman combines
both,the identity of its past, and the modernity of
the present. It is also a country of peace that
welcomes everyone to enjoy its beauty and
Civilisation.
After all been said, who can’t afford to fall in love
with this country
