Instructions: Write a reflection paper and based on your readings, Do global
interdependence (commodity chains) promote even development among
participating countries?
The manufacturing organization promotes the aspect of the
commodity chain through the manufacturing of goods and distributing them
to their consumers. In this effect, the commodity chains promote global
interdependence in different aspects that promote even development in the
participating countries. Global interdependence promotes fair distribution of
skills in the countries that are participating in the commodity chain. In this
effect, the countries that participate in the commodity chain promote even
development through the exchange of skills.
Global interdependence enhances different countries to exchange
what they have and get what they don't have thus enhancing economic
growth. Due to this, the countries that participate in global interdependence
promote even development and growth in the countries.
The commodity chain enhances and assures that through
manufacturing, a country can exchange goods and services in the
participating countries. In this regard, the participating countries are
assured of a ready market of their goods, thus generating revenues that
foster economic growth. Due to this, each country participating in global
interdependence promotes even development in the participating countries.
Global interdependence will enhance the countries to open trading
doors to various countries; through this, the countries that depend on each
other will reduce restrictions of tariffs and protectionism in the country. In
this effect, the countries can register even development due to trading
activities with various countries.

Instructions: Create a concept map on the history of global interdependence. In the map identify at least
7 important events.
The
starting
point
of
a
security
and
peace policy.
Unification
of
humanity
into
one
single
political system–
the
emerging
world society.
GLOBAL
INTERDEPENDENCE
World
interdependence
was
at
last
recognized to be
as
real
as
European
interdependence.
The
control
of
governments over their
representatives abroad is
much larger than it was,
approximately, a century
ago.
The continual uneasy
relationship between the
conditions
of
interdependence
(the
structural dimension) and
their acceptance (the
cognitive dimension).
The press covers the
news
and
if
something
really
important
happens,
the
Minister
of
Foreign Affairs or the
President will fly in
him or herself.
The role of ambassadors and
embassies
has
changed
fundamentally; ambassador has
become an agent of economic
promotion and tourism, rather
than a policy-maker and an
interpreter
of
local
developments.
