I expect that the students will try their best to cope with the challenges of the new normal
of learning, hoping that their desire for knowledge will defeat whatever obstacles that they will
encounter. I am also expecting that at the end of the semester, they will be more familiar with the
concept, terms and definitions of gender, they have developed awareness of the gender situations
in the Philippines, relate this knowledge in real-life circumstances and in some ways, create a
positive change in the status of gender in our society.
