 To be able to determine the parts of the body connected with each senses

“Counting Senses”
I see with my eyes,
I hear with my ears,
Two eyes, two ears.
I taste with my mouth,
I smell with my nose,
One mouth, one nose.
I touch with my hands,
I feel with my toes,
Two hands, ten toes.
My senses tell me
I’m truly alive.
Senses, one two, three, four, five!
C. Materials: Pencil, papers, pictures and illustrations, charts, stamps
IV.
PROCEDURE
A. Motivation
 The students will be given claps and stamps for their attendance
B. Activity
1. The teachers will discuss about the remaining two senses namely, touch and
hearing accompanied by some illustrations.
2. The students will tell the parts of the body connected to the said senses.
3. The students will recite a poem again entitled, "Counting Senses" together
with the teachers.
4. The students will identify the two senses using some demonstrations.
C. Lesson Proper
1. Opening prayer
2. The teachers will recall the first three senses together with some
examples.
3. We will ask the students if they know what are the remaining two
senses.
4. We will start our discussion by showing some pictures or
illustrations of the parts of the body connected with the said senses.
5. Children will have their activity by stating what are the senses
accompanied by our demonstrations and illustrations.
6. We will give them their assignments.
7. Closing prayer

their students.
3. We will ask the students if they know what are the five senses.
4. We will start our discussion by showing some pictures or illustrations
of the parts of the body connected with the first three senses.
5. We will read a poem entitled, "Counting Senses" together with the
students.
6. Children will have their activity by stating what are the senses
accompanied by our demonstrations and illustrations.
7. We will give them their assignments.

5. We will continue by showing some pictures or illustrations of the parts of
the body.
6. Children will have their activity by labeling the parts of the body in our
provided picture.
7. We will give them their assignments.

recite and point in their body the parts.

2. We will discuss about the proper caring of the body
C. Lesson Proper
1. The teachers will lead the opening prayer. Next will be the greetings.
2. We will ask the students to name the things we will show to them and discuss about
the use of it.
3. We will discuss on how to use it properly by showing some demonstrations.
4. We will continue by singing and dancing.
5. Children will have their activity in which they will be given activity sheet and they
will color the things indicated on it.

 To know the importance of washing hands
 To determine the proper way of washing hands
 To determine the ways on how to have a proper caring of our body
 For the children to be able to always do the washing of hands to avoid some diseases
III. SUBJECT MATTER

IV. PROCEDURE
A. Motivation
 The students will be given claps and stamps for their attendance
B. Activity
1. The teachers will recall their last discussion and connect/relate with it our
next topic which is the proper way of washing hands.
2. Students will watch a video about the proper way of washings hands step
by step
3. Students will be guided by the teachers in washing their hands for the
practice and demonstrations.
C. Lesson Proper
1. The teachers will lead the opening prayer. Next will be the greetings.
2. We will show a picture of hands and let the students see also their hands
and start our discussion about proper way of washing hands.
3. We will discuss about germs and its effects on our body
4. Students will watch a video about how to wash our hands properly. Tell
them that we are going to ask questions about they've watched so that they
will watch carefully
5. Teachers will teach the students the proper way of washing hands step by
step based from the video.
6. Teachers will let the students to wash their hands by three and guide them
in doing the activity using the “Wash your hands” song as the timer. Other
children who are not yet taking handwashing activity will be given activities
provided by the teachers or they can also watch again the video.
7. We will ask questions about their activity and ask what are the different
steps/ways in washing hands based from their activity.
8. Closing discussion about the importance to have a proper washing of hands,
on when to wash our hands, and what are the possible effects of having that
practice
9. Students will have their assignment in which they will be reminded by the
teachers to wash their hands every before and after meal. They must practice
it at home together with their parents.
