SIMILARITIES BETWEEN COMPOUND LIGHT AND TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPE.
1 Compound microscope and transmission electron microscope are similar in the sense that,they
both use radiation to form bigger and detailed image of an object/specimen.They are both used in
reseach and science as a whole.They both enlarge and highly resolve images of tiny objects or small
parts of large objects.vewed object or specimen must be prepared technically using relevant
technique to both equipment and sample.
DIFFENCES BETWEEN COMPOUND LIGHT AND TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPE
Compound light microscope is different/differs from transmission electron due to the fact that,it is
simple to use ,can show both live and dead specimen , uses light rays to illuminate object and have
low magnification power ,whereas transmission electron microscope requires technical skills to use
,show only dead specimens, use beams of electrons to show specimen or object and has high power
of magnification .
2 a) It reduces/increases amount of light and increase/decrease the contrast of image in order to see
image clearly and detailed.
b) because it easier to locate the specimen or object on the slide than if you start with a higher
power objective lens.
c) to prevent crashing the lens into the slide
