Treatment details to include:-reason for treatment and blended essential oil justification:
The pre blended oils i chose where
Clary sage to help with headaches
Chamomile reman as the client has patches of eczema.
rose to help with sensitive skin
Marjoram to help the client to relax
Sandalwood to help with sore throat.
- I used avocado oil to help dry skin
- The room was prepared with music playing and soft lighting.
- I gave the client instructions to remove clothes to underwear and turn the stomach into a
prone position.
- I started with breathing exercises and a spinal stretch.
- I client had lower back tension so i applied more pressure
2
- When i moved on to the clients back she had tension on the right side so i applied more
pressure when doing frictions around the trapezius and when working from the top of the
bed
- I focused on the shoulders to help reduce the tension on the right side
-I then finished the full body massage with a face and scalp massage using cream on the
face
- I then gave the client aftercare advice and her clothes
Client feedback:
I’m going to make sure I come back again next time I need a massage because Hakima gave made
me an amazing massage I loved.
After/Home care advice given:
•Drink plenty of water to help prevent dehydration and promote cleansing of the body
•Avoid stimulants such as tea, coffee, alcohol, smoking as this will reintroduce toxins back in
to the body
•Do not have a baths shower for 24 hours or heat treatments such as sauna or sunbath as
the oils will absorb into the skin too quickly and you may feel nausea and the skin may be
irritated
• Eat a light meal
• No strenuous activities e.g. GYM
• Avoid applying fragrances as they may react with the oil
• You may feel tired and emotional or ill this is the body’s detoxifying process
