Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, students are able to:
- Identify the parts of the leaf;
- Describe the characteristics of leaves that they have collected;
- Explain to the class the parts and characteristics of the leaves assigned to them.
Materials
- Leaves, Ballpen, Adhesives (tape or glue), Scissors, Stapler, Worksheet and Extra sheet of
paper NOTE: please provide extra sheets (2 short bond papers)
Procedures
1. Prepare six different samples of medium size leaf.
2. Get one medium size leaf and paste the leaf on your short bond paper.
3. Identify the parts of the leaf by labelling it on your answer sheet.
4. Paste the remaining five leaves on another sheet and labeled it as sample 1-5.
5. Describe the leaves based on its characteristics such as structure, attachment, arrangement, shape.
