Dear Arthur,
Hi! I'm Bill and I live in London, and I can't imagine living anywhere else. With my parents and
my brother, I often cycle or walk through the city which is endless. My favourite view of the city is
from Waterloo Bridge. From there you can see London Eye and Houses of Parliament. The view is
particularly nice when the weather is sunny.
My favourite time of the year in London is during winter holidays. It’s the only time I find
shopping on Oxford Street enjoyable, largely because of the amazing lights everywhere, and the
shops packed with people. I really enjoy myself when I go there.
When you come to my city, we will get you a photo with Winston Churchill and Franklin D.
Roosevelt statue who are seated on a bench together in conversation. This statue is on Old Bond
Street.
I have never been to France, but I would very much like to go there and visit you. I heard so
much about Paris with its Eiffel tower and Louvre museum.
Can you tell me a little more about your country? Next time I'll tell you about my family.
Yours, Bill.
