What is a Non-chronological report?
A non-chronological report is a non-fiction piece of text which is not
written in time order. It is focused on a single topic and includes various
facts about this topic. It is written to describe the way things are or classify
something
Features
 Openings contains a general classification.
 The information is organised into paragraphs about different aspects
of the subject. These could be arranged in any order.
 Technical vocabulary or words specific to the subject of the report.
 Has a title and sub-headings.
 Formal, impersonal language written in the 3rd person.
 It contains facts, not opinions.
 Usually written in the present tense.
