Short Story Group Project
Make a PowerPoint presentation about a short story that you may have read or have not
read before this semester. You can work in a group of 2-3. (If you are not here for the
presentation, you still must present. The group must create a PowerPoint/Google
presentation. Two grades will count toward your total grade—group presentation and
PowerPoint. Before you can work on the project, you must get it approved by me first.
Your presentation will need the elements listed below:
Name and author of story (background)
Plot (a brief summary no more than one or two slides)
Protagonists(s)
Antagonists(s)
Exposition
Rising Action
Climax
Falling Action
Resolution
Possible Theme(s)
One example from your story for two of the literary devices listed below.
