Poster Measurements
The pre-requisite for successful posters is good visual presentation, so that your work arouses
interest! This can best be achieved by observing the following guidelines:
1. Max. poster measurement is DIN A0: width: 84.1 cm; height: 118.9 cm (portrait format)
2. We suggest designing your poster in the following sections:
Title, author, address (on the upper edge, across the width of the whole poster)
Abstract
Introduction and Purpose
Methods
Results and Discussion
Conclusions
3. The title should be emphasized by the use of a bold type face. This writing should be easily
readable at a distance of 2 – 3 meters. The text can be broken up by the inclusion of drawings
and/or photos.
4. To promote your work, you may like to bring handouts for distribution to interested delegates.
5. Poster numbers will be provided and fixed at each poster wall. Your poster number can be
found on the congress website.
6. Authors are requested to be present at their posters during the poster session for which their
poster has been scheduled. At that time, poster chairpersons will be present and discuss
posters selected by the Programme Committee. In the event that you will not be able to
present your poster, you have to inform the secretariat by Nov 20, 2018.
Otherwise a penalty may incur prohibiting the author from submitting abstracts for future NCCEB
congresses. Those subject to this penalty will be informed in writing.
