Dear Sir/Madam.
We are pleased to inform you that the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) is organizing the

"Peace and Development Through Scouting"
Those are attending the 16tn National Scout Jamboree requested to
arrive in Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) not later than
13:00 hrs. ol 22"" October 2015, Thursday and are suggested to
leave not later than 12:00 hrs. of 01"t November 2015, Sunday. The
duration of stay is for eleven (1 1) days and ten (10) nights.

The fare for the Air tickets of the' participants from Manila to Davao
City will be shouldered separately by the participants. Arrangements
may be made with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
Aims and Objectives
The Jamboree aims to provide a progressive, safe and enjoyable
learning environment for the Scouts/Guides in order to enhance their
physical, social, mental, emotional and spiritual potentials. At the end
of the Jamboree, the participants should be able to:

Undergo projects, programs and activities that will cater to the
fulfillment of the requirements of s-elected merit badges and
scout ranks under the Advancement'Scheme.
o. Develop core life skills and 2lstcentury leadership capabilities
through team building, cooperative learning, group dynamics,
creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Keep oneself abreast with the prevailing issues about the
environment, human rights, health, education, culture and
science and technology through the Global Development
Village, City of Science and Cross Roads of Cultures.
The following are the qualifications for the participating Scouts/Guides
and Adult Leaders, viz:
Who can apply
a. A ScouUGuide/Rover/Ranger is expected to have leadership
potentials, sufficient camping experience, and physically fit to
undergo strenuous activities with corresponding parent's
consent and:

Must be in between the age group of 10 years to 25
years old.
. Must be equipped with camping gears.
. Having valid passport (applications without having
passport will not be entertained).
Participating Adult Leaders must have the maturity and clarity
about his/her role and:

Registration Fee and
Deadline of Confirmation
of Attendance
Must be physically fit as certified by a physician
Must be good moral character
Must be equipped with camping gears
Preferably HWB Holders or at least Advanced Trained.
Having valid passport (applications without having
passport will not be entertained).
A Registration Fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars (USD 150.00 i.e.
INR Rs. 9,000/-) shall be charged for each of the participants in order
to defray administrative costs, program materials, in-land
transportation to and from the airport-hotel-camp site, tent for each of
the participants, cooking and other camping gears, souvenir items and
food from Lunch of 2Jd october 2015 until Dinner of 30th October
2015,
The Registration form along with caution money and copy of passport
should be recommended bv the State Associations to reach NHQ,
New Delhi latest by 20th Sepiember,2015.

The applications of the participating candidates should reach to
National Headquarters, New Delhi on or before 20th September,
2015.
Application without photocopy of passport will not be aicepted.
You are requested to encourage your Scouts/Guides and Adult Leaders as per the eligibility
criteria mentioned above and send their applications in the prescribed. Performa (enclosed) to the
National Headquarters, Bharat Scouts & Guides, New Delhi latest by 20'n September,2O15.
