2013 was the first edition of Automechanika New Delhi. The UK group had a successful
participation, all companies reporting they expected to win new orders as a result and pointing out
the very good quality of the contacts they made at the show.
Following the success of the first edition, SMMT will be taking again a group of UK exhibitors
Why should I attend?
ACMA Automechanika New Delhi show is set to grow in 2015, attracting a higher number of
exhibitors and visitors and adding one more hall to the show.
The Indian auto component and aftermarket industry is currently valued at around USD 46 billion
and is expected to grow to up to USD 115 billion by 2020/2021 on the back of domestic demand.

Visitor number: 8,096 professionals from 58 countries and 192 cities in India
67% exhibitors said that they would definitely participate in the 2015 edition
36% said that they would highly recommend other companies to participate in the show
International Pavilions from China, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and UK.

Event Specification - SMMT’s exhibitor offer
The UK Pavilion will make bespoke 9sqm booths available to UK companies to exhibit. The
provisional estimated cost for a fully equipped 9 sqm booth is £2,600.
The booth will include:
 Stand construction and dismantling
 One table and three chairs
 One lockable Information counter
 One waste paper basket
 Stand partitions
 Spot lights inclusive of power, as per entitlement
 Wall-to-wall carpet
 Fascia board with company name
 One catalogue with entry country name / booth number
 Daily booth cleaning
Supplementary meeting programme (chargeable)
We will also be able to facilitate the arrangements for UK companies of an individual meeting
programme.
This tailored programme of meeting would take place before, during or after the show and can be
arranged by a range of recommended organisations in India:
 UK Trade & Investment local team through an Overseas Market Introduction Service,
 UK India Business Council Centre in Gurgaon,
 or through a local private agent such as TMG Advisory.
Meetings would be arranged with business partners/organisations that you would have nominated.
Subject to their availability and acceptance, you may have to extend your stay either before or
after Automechanika New Delhi at your own costs to attend these meetings, although the aim will
be to try and arrange the meetings during the show if possible.

Grant support
A limited number of TAP grants are available from UK Trade & Investment to eligible UK
companies, each worth £2,500. Please contact us for further information.

Management & registration fee
There is a £400 SMMT management & registration fee that will be charged. This fee will not
however be charged to Members of the SMMT.

Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th February 2015: 10:00 to 18:00.
Sunday 1st March 2015: 10.00 to 16.00.

SMMT exhibitor Terms and Conditions
1) We appoint SMMT to act as our agent in connection with the above exhibition in order to exhibit
as part of the British Group in accordance with and as described in the Event Specification.
2) We agree to comply with the general code of conduct and other requirements as described in
UKTI “Exhibitors Terms & Conditions”.
3) We agree to comply with the Terms & Conditions of The Event Organiser as relating to
Exhibitors (details available from Organiser website).
4) We understand and accept that UKTI financial support is available only for eligible companies as
described in UKTI “Exhibitors Terms and Conditions” and if endorsed by our local International
Trade Adviser.
5) If the exhibition or part thereof is cancelled by the Show organiser, management fee will be
returnable less £25 administration fee. SMMT will not be liable to recover or refund any fees for
stand space or in respect of any other loss or expense incurred by us, directly or indirectly, in
consequence of any withdrawal of support, cancellation, postponement or shortening of the
exhibition other than to the extent that they have been recovered by SMMT from the exhibition
organisers or other third parties.
6) We understand that if we decide after submitting our Application Form to withdraw as an
exhibitor at the exhibition we remain liable to pay the full cost of Participant Option charge and
SMMT Management Fee. Any payment made in respect of stand space cancelled by the
exhibitor will be refunded by SMMT only if a suitable alternative replacement exhibitor can be
found and to the extent that any loss incurred by SMMT arising from our withdrawal has been
otherwise mitigated. The Management Fee is retained in the event of a cancellation and is nonrefundable in any circumstance.

7) In the event that by the 15 July 2014 fewer than 5 companies apply to join the SMMT UK
Pavilion Group SMMT reserves the right to cancel the UK Pavilion as being economically
unviable and in those circumstances SMMT will offer disappointed exhibitors a full refund of all
fees paid to SMMT by all the cancellation date. No consequential or additional costs incurred by
disappointed exhibitors will be paid by SMMT. Where possible disappointed exhibitors still
wishing to exhibit will be accommodated by the show organisers at the venue on an individual
independent company basis at their normal basic shell scheme rates and terms. Enhanced shell
scheme services will be available but at additional cost to basic rates – please refer to the show
website for full details of standard package rates.
8) We agree to indemnify SMMT to the extent of their legal liability for all losses claims or
proceedings of any nature whatsoever including financial loss, personal injury or death which
we, our staff, agents and / or subcontractors may incur or cause during the exhibition.
