Please consider purchasing flowers for our Sunday service to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, a loved one's memory or just because. The cost of flowers is now $40.00. That would make it easy for 2 people or families to share the expense. When you purchase flowers you are free to take them at the end of the service. There are quite a few open Sundays. The sign up book is in the lounge.

Please pray regularly for these church family members who can’t be with us:

Betty Corson, Ruth Dinsmore, Greg Fox, Ed Harris, Bill LeConey, Ruth Reigens,

PRAYER CONCERNS – We have four ways to ensure that we communicate additions, updates and removals of prayer concerns as a congregation.

Please advise if you desire limited communication.

1. Send e-mail – to prayer@fbcmoorestown.org

with your prayer request.

2. Pew Prayer Card – Use the card in the pews and put it in the offering plate.

3. Foyer Prayer Clip Board – Add your request for sharing by the Pastor.

4. Telephone – Call the office at (856)235-1180 and share your prayer requests.

NEWS FROM THE BOARDS

News from the Executive Board - For the past few months, the Executive Board has been examining the church’s relationship with ABCNJ. Over the years, we have participated in many of their activities and programs, and we have maintained a healthy financial position with them.

However, this year, for the first time, we’ve had to adjust our financial position with ABCNJ, for budget purposes, and we have not participated in as many of their programs and activities, as we have in the past. This has prompted a conversation in terms of what benefits ABCNJ actually provides to FBC.

We have had continuing conversations regarding the benefits/advantages/disadvantages of maintaining a relationship with ABCNJ, and what might be in the best interest of our church.

We have, also, done research on other possible alliances. On May 18, our next Business

Meeting, we are prepared to discuss our findings and solicit input from all of you. I encourage each and everyone of you to attend, so that we may present our findings. Lorene

From the Diaconate: Thank you for your past participation as church members. Please consider signing up to be a Greeter or Reader. Your church experience will be enriched when you participate. There are also open Sundays for Coffee Hour and Flowers. The book to sign up is in the Lounge.

Feinstein Challenge UPDATE We collected over 8,261 food items and over $631.29!

Volunteers have also put in about 74 hours of work . The Feinstein Challenge will also match a percentage of the donations raised from the CROP walk.

Along with the donations from members of this church, we are the recipients of foods collected in the

1. Food for All challenge, 2. Bread donated by a person who picks up and donates extra loaves she gets from the warehouse, 3. Wawa products donated through Food Donation Connection , Bagels donated from 4. Manhattan Bagel and 5.

Passariello’s!

FOOD PANTRY

Please remember those who depend on our Food Pantry.

All those who come really do appreciate everything we offer but items which we run out of quickly include meats, cereals, fruit products and toiletries. We have plenty of beans.
