Inmagic DB/TextWorks for SQL and WebPublisher PRO for SQL v14.5
o DB/TextWorks, WebPublisher PRO, and SQL Server can be installed on a single machine or separate machines.
o Both DB/TextWorks and WebPublisher PRO require access to SQL Server.
General Requirements
o Installation on a Domain Controller is not supported.
o Setup Workstation must be run on each workstation client during the installation or upgrade process
o WebPublisher PRO is not supported on a server hosting SharePoint.
Processor
o Processor required for operating system and installed application is sufficient for Inmagic applications. Better performance
will be achieved with more advanced processors.
Memory
o Memory required for operating system and installed applications is sufficient for Inmagic applications.
Better performance will be achieved with more memory.
o DB/TextWorks for SQL requires approximately 52MB for program files, the Importer, and Sample textbases.
Disk Space
o WebPublisher PRO for SQL requires approximately 10MB for program files and the sample textbase.
o Additional disk space (as much as possible) is required for Inmagic textbases, which vary in size based
on amount of data, and will increase in size over time.
Operating Systems
o The following server operating systems are supported for software installation:
 Windows Server 2012 R2
 Windows Server 2008 SP2 (32-bit or 64-bit)
 Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
 Windows Server 2003 SP2 (32-bit or 64-bit), deprecated (support will be removed in the future)
 Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-bit or 64-bit), deprecated (support will be removed in the future)
o The following client operating systems are supported for running the DB/TextWorks client:
 Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit)
 Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
 Windows Vista SP2 (32-bit or 64-bit), deprecated (support will be removed in the future)
 Windows XP PRO SP2 or newer

SQL Server
o One of the following:
 Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 (64-bit) (Enterprise, Standard & Express)
 Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (32-bit, 64-bit) (Enterprise, Standard & Express)
 Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP2 (32-bit, 64-bit) (Enterprise, Standard & Express)
 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP2 (32-bit, 64-bit) (Enterprise & Standard)
 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express SP3
o The physical or virtual machine hosting the Web Server must meet the following requirements:

 Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 SP2 (will be installed by WebPublisher PRO, if not already present)
 Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is required (see below).
o The following combinations are supported:
IIS

WebPublisher PRO)
 IIS 8.5 on the Windows 2012 R2 operating system
 IIS 7.0 on one of the supported Windows 2008 operating systems
 IIS 6.0 on one of the supported Windows 2003 operating systems (deprecated)
