In both the home and the workplace, we are increasingly reliant on microprocessor-based
electronic equipment. Today’s microprocessors are smaller and faster than ever, but they are
also more sensitive to power quality problems. Among the most common and critical problems
are brief over-voltage disturbances commonly called surges or voltage transients. Surges can
damage, degrade, or destroy critical processing components in your business and home
electronics. In addition, surges can corrupt or destroy the data that is stored on computers,
servers and other systems.
Leviton’s surge protection panels (sometimes called transient voltage surge suppression
or “TVSS” panels) are your first line of defense against common and costly disturbances and
interruptions. In many cases, a small investment in surge protective devices can prevent these

Peak Surge Current Rating The maximum current capacity
that a surge product can absorb without damage to a mode.
Replaceable Modules A physical module housing surge protection
components. After failure, it can be easily removed and replaced.
Visual & Audible Diagnostic Real-time status via LED with
audible backup for use in out-of-the-way locations.
Independent Diagnostic via LED's Monitors power and
suppression status for each mode.
Dry Contacts for Remote Monitoring Keep track of up to six
panels remotely.
Optional Surge Counter Feature that counts and displays a
running total of voltage spikes.
Noise Filtering (or Noise Rejection) The blocked frequency
range of electrical noise.
Redundant Protection Multiple paths for overvoltages in case
of recurring voltage spikes, outages, or equipment on/off cycling.

74000 Series Designed for the most mission-critical industrial and commercial environments.
Redundant, seven-module design provides complete building entrance and branch panel
protection, even if one module fails. Monitor, diagnose, and track surge events and equipment
status including surge magnitude and time/date for each occurrence.
57000 Series With its modular design, the 57000 series is well suited for critical building
entrance and branch panel environments and guards against successive surges or lightning strikes
with primary and secondary protection. Features easily replaceable modules and an optional
surge counter.
52000 Series Providing modular protection for medium-exposure areas, the 52000 is one of
Leviton’s most popular surge panel series, with a good mix of value, performance, and features.
This product family includes products for single- and multi-phase systems.
47000 Series A 7-mode panel available in NEMA 1 or NEMA 4X enclosure, the 47000’s nonmodular design provides cost-effective surge protection for environments needing a high level of
peak surge current protection.
42000 Series One of our most popular surge protection panel series, the 42000 offers
noise filtering, visual and audible performance diagnostics and dry contacts for remote
monitoring, all in a compact design.
37000 Series Designed for indoor installation at the service entrance, distribution and branch
panel location, the 37000 series provides full 7-mode protection (each phase to neutral, each
phase to ground and neutral to ground) for WYE-configured, 3-phase AC systems.
32000 Series With the same feature set as the 42000 family, but with more limited noise filtering, the 32000 series offers a lower price-point as well as compatibility with Leviton’s Decora
Home Controls (DHC) products.
