Model #: 033
Description:
The MPP-24 power pack is the foundation for any low voltage lighting control system. The MPP-24 supplies low voltage
power to occupancy sensors and other control devices, switching line voltage in response to signals from control devices.
The MPP-24 power pack is attached to existing junction boxes or mounted into fixture wiring trays. Low voltage wiring
should use at least 22-gauge wire. High voltage connections should use at least 14-gauge. Always check local building
codes. After initial wiring is completed, check wiring diagrams to verify the power pack is wired correctly. Improper wiring
can cause damage to the power pack, lighting system, occupancy sensor and other control devices.
Features:
•
•
•
•
Self-contained power supply relay system
LED indicator of relay operation for easy verification
Convert line voltage to low voltage in various lighting control systems
Able to link up to six sensors at a time

360° Dual-Technology PIR/Ultrasonic
Low Voltage Occupancy Sensor
Model #: MDC-50L
Description: The MDC-50L 360° Dual-Technology Occupancy Sensor combines advanced passive infrared (PIR)
and ultrasonic technology into one unit. The combined technologies help to avoid false triggering. Selectable operation
modes allow the sensor to turn back on and hold it on as long as either or both technologies detect occupancy. After no
movement is detected for the selected time delay, the lights switch off.

Both requires motion detection by the PIR and the Ultrasonic.
Either requires motion detection by only one technology.
PIR requires motion detection by the PIR.
Ultrasonic requires motion detection by the Ultrasonic.
Time Delay: Switches 5, 6, 7
The sensor will hold the lights on as long as occupancy is detected. The
time delay countdown starts when no motion is detected. After no motion
is detected for the length of the time delay, the sensor will turn the lights
off.
Override: Switch 8
To override all sensor functions, set to ON position ( DIP Swicth 8 ).

360° Passive Infrared
Low Voltage Occupancy Sensor
Model #: MPC-50L
Description: The MPC-50L 360° passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensors turn lighting systems
on and off based on occupancy and ambient light level. The light level feature keeps lights from
turning on if ambient light level is sufficient. The sensors can be configured to turn lighting on, and
hold it on as long as the sensor detects occupancy. After no movement is detected for a specified
or auto-set time (5 seconds to 30 minutes) the lights switch off. A "walk-through" mode can turn
lights off after only 3 minutes, if no activity is detected after 30 seconds of an occupancy detection.

OPERATION
The Sensor Switch is programmed for Occupancy Mode only.
Automatic Turning On/Off the Load
Once the power is on, the load will be turned On according to the
occupancy settings. The sensor time delay operates as programmed.
When the load turns OFF due to the lack of motion detection, the
load can be turned ON again by occupancy detection or switch
activation.
The Sensor keeps the Load On until no motion is detected plus the
set time delay, load(s) will be turned Off automatically.
TROUBLESHOOTING`
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker before
installation. Lights do not turn on with occupancy, and the
following condition exists:
PIR Activity LED does not flash:
NOTE: When power is initially applied to the sensor, there is a warm-up
period of up to 1 minute before the LED is active.
1. Check that the circuit breaker or any wall switch connected to the
sensor has been turned back on.
2. Make sure that the PIR Sensitivity is set for Max.
3. Make sure the wire is connected right.
PIR Activity LED flashes:
1. If the sensor’s Light Level has been turned to minimum (at position
1), the lights connected to the Light Level Output might be held off
because of the level of ambient light in the controlled area. To test
whether the Light Level adjustment is the problem, cover the PIR lens
and PIR Activity LED with your hand to see if the lights turn on. If
the lights turn on, the Light Level setting was keeping the lights off
(see, “Sensor Adjustment” for readjustment).
2. Make sure the wire is connected right.
Lights do not turn off automatically:
1. The sensor may be experiencing activations from outside the
controlled or from some type of interference (see “Unwanted Sensor
Activations” below).
2. Make sure the wire is connected right.

150° Passive Infrared
Line Voltage Occupancy Sensor
Model #: MPW-J
Description: The MPW-J 150° passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensors turn lighting systems
on and off based on occupancy and ambient light levels. The light level feature keeps lights
from turning on if the ambient light level is sufficient. The sensors can be configured to turn
lighting on, and hold it on as long as the sensor detects occupancy. After no movement is
detected for a specified time the lights are switched off.

150° Dual-Technology PIR/Ultrasonic
Line Voltage Occupancy Sensor
Model #: MDW-V
Description: This Dual Technology Occupancy Sensor combines advanced passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic
technologies into one unit. The combined technologies help to avoid false triggering even in difficult applications. The
MDW-L turns lighting on and off based on occupancy and ambient light levels. The sensor offers numerous operating
modes that can be combined to create the ideal custom control. Selectable operating mode allow the sensor to turn a
load on, and hold it on as long as either or both technologies detect occupancy. After no movement is detected for the
selected time delay, the lights switch off. A "walk-through" mode can turn lights off after only 3 minutes, if no activity is
detected after 30 seconds following an occupancy detection. This sensor contains a light level sensor. If adequate
daylight is present, the sensor holds the load OFF until light levels drop, even if the area is occupied. * The MDC-50L

Commercial Grade
In-Wall Occupancy/Vacancy Sensor
Model #: MWOS
Description: This Multi-Technology Wall Switch Sensor combine advanced passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic
technologies into one unit. The combined technologies helps eliminate false triggering even in difficult applications.
Selectable operating modes allow the sensor to turn a load on, and hold it on as long as either or both technologies
detect occupancy . After no movement is detected for the selected time delay, the lights switch off.
A "walk-through" mode can turn lights off after only 3 minutes, if no activity is detected after 30 seconds following an
occupancy detection.
This sensor also contains a light level sensor. If adequate daylight is present, the sensor holds the load OFF until light
levels drop, even if the area is occupied.
Features:




Integrated PIR and Ultrasonic sensor technology to detect very fine motion and provide accurate motion sensing
Allows to choose triggering when both technologies detect motion or when only PIR detects motion
Less false trigger, fast ON/OFF; commercial grade sensor for closet, garage, hotels, meeting room, work places
Adjustable timeout from 15 seconds to 30 minutes; Walk-Through mode: 3 minutes if no activity after first 30
seconds
