1.1 Release Overview
TRIAD release 4.4.0 provides a wide range of new features, improvements and bug fixes for TRIAD in
both the Clinical Trials and Clinical Trials NCI Oncology domains.

Description
1 New design of DICOM data validation results review during submission
Viewing DICOM Series and tags which either meet or fall short of protocol requirements is now much
easier to reference.

2 “Additional Trial Input” Parameter
Additional selection criteria are available during data submission for protocols with specific subject
randomization options.

3 Names of Submission Type are changed

“Quality Assurance” is now titled “Site Qualification”

“Benchmarking” is now titled “Credentialing” (Typically used for RT submissions)
4 Streamlined submission process
Just click “Submit” to transfer data.
5 Support for Breast Tomosynthesis image exchange
DICOM Breast Tomosynthesis Imaging exchange is now supported in TRIAD.
Changes related to Clinical Trials domain only.
The following release items are only related to Clinical Trials domain and not related to Clinical Trials (NCI
Oncology) domain.

Description
6 Username / Password reminders in the TRIAD Clinical Trials domain
Reminders are available through the TRIAD Windows Client. Just click the “Forgot Password?” link on
the TRIAD login page and select the “Recover Password” or “Recover Username” tab as shown below.
NOTE: This is applicable for TRIAD Clinical Trials domain only; TRIAD Clinical Trials (NCI Oncology) domain accounts are
managed outside of TRIAD within CTEP AIM.

7 Streamlined TRIAD user account registration process in the Clinical Trials domain
NOTE: This is applicable for TRIAD Clinical Trials domain only; all the TRIAD Clinical Trials (NCI Oncology) domain accounts
and roles are managed outside of TRIAD within CTEP AIM and RSS.
TRIAD provides you with an option to select your required user/reviewer role for TRIAD (approval by
TRIAD administrator required):
