COURSE OBJECTIVES
 Introduce to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code organization
 Understand how to apply codified rules, their importance in a Nuclear
Power Plant, the associated technical and documentation rules
 Present the interaction between the code sections, in particular those
applied to Nuclear Pressure Equipments
 Identify differences between the ASME code and the USA regulatory
framework and how the code can be used outside of the USA/Canada.

 General presentation of the ASME Codes and Standards
 Presentation of ASME code sections (design, materials, fabrication,
welding, examinations, in service inspection, testing) and their
interactions
 Specific Requirements for nuclear equipment with application examples
 Specific requirements while using the ASME Code and standards

