1 (on MSc in Management-Grande Ecole - Majeure Stratégie) Once selected at Bocconi
for the Double Degree your application has to be reviewed and approved by the
Director of the Majeure. A working experience in a consulting company is highly
reccommended. In case the candidate is not accepted in this Master, he/she
should be offered a slot in MIB.

Requirements
Italian undergraduate degree ≥ 100/110 (students holding a foreign Bachelor Degree should submit a
Bachelor grade transcript and the Bachelor Diploma together with the dossier to be evaluated by the Selection
Committee)
Proficiency in English: the proficiency can be demonstrated through a recognized International Language
Certificate (TOEFL min. 600/250/100, IELTS min. 7.0, CAE min. B or CPE, other C1 certificates recognized
by the Bocconi language Center), a Bocconi language exam (official Bachelor transcript) or Bachelor in English
(official transcript).
French: Level B2 (minimum grade 25/30, Bocconi grading scale), proved by International Certificates
recognized by Bocconi Language Centre, Bocconi curricular exam or internal French test organized by the
Global Alliances Office.
Study Plan
The final study plan will be agreed upon with the Director of the Graduate Degree.
The students will have to complete the whole majeure and many courses may be taught in French.
They will have to attend all courses envisaged in the academic path, regardless potential overlapping with topics already
covered during previous studies. No exemptions are allowed.

Language Requirements
All Bocconi students, including Double Degree students, have two language exams in their second year study plan. To
pass them they can either:
come back to Bocconi to sit the exam or
take an International Language Certificate recognized by the Bocconi Language Center.
Internship
For HEC, a 15-week internship (10 weeks + at least 6 weeks cumulative is possible) is required and can be carried out
in any country (for Bocconi 10 weeks abroad full-time is enough).
Thesis
The thesis (at HEC called mémoire de recherche) will be developed with an HEC and a Bocconi supervisor. The
discussion at Bocconi is mandatory, students can agree with the HEC professor whether to discuss at HEC too or not.
In case yes, they have to respect HEC requirements and deadlines for thesis discussion.

Special Warnings
Special warnings: Students selected for HEC must reach at least 60 ECTS by September 30th (before leaving) including
foreign languages and internship if necessary. If they do not comply with this HEC requirement they will be dismissed
from the Program.
The HEC academic director will evaluate and approve applicants’ dossier. An interview could be required (conference
call).
The pool of exams to be converted in Bocconi will be approved by the Bocconi Master of Science Director.
At HEC the graduation fee is 615 EUR.

IMPORTANT: Students with French nationality, with a French Bachelor Degree or former applicants
