Biographical sketch:
Prof Roychowdhury has completed his Masters Degree in Economics from the
University of Calcutta in 2007.He then worked for four monthes in a project on ‘RTI and Participatory
democracy’ under Dr.Rabindra Nath Mukhopadhyay of University of Calcutta under UGC‐DRS scheme.
He worked as an assistant teacher in Vivekananda Mission School during 2007‐2008.He was associated
with Kidderpore college as a part time lecturer during 2009‐2010. He joined Lady Brabourne College in
2009 as a Part‐time professor in the Department of Economics. He is associated with St.Xavier’s college
as a part time professor in the Department of Commerce (morning) from January 2010 and as a guest
lecturer in the Department of Business Administration from June 2011.He is also a Guest lecturer in
Vivekananda College.
